Concieved in Ireland, born in the US and yet to make his way to Australia. DJ Maverick is indeed a special boy!!

April 2009 - Sadly with the uncertainty in my life right now I made the very sad decision to sell Maverick within the US before importing him. He is now known as Silver Fox and has a great new home!!

His dam Rowan has always been a favorite of mine and the moment Mav was born I was on to Jen at Desert Jewel to be first on the list if she decided to offer him for sale.

I think this was one she was VERY tempted to keep but eventually agreed he could come to Australia when he was weaned!!!

He was colour tested and found to indeed be a black silver, this is the stunning chocolate coat colour with a silver/creamy mane and tail. See silver/taffy here

His lovely bone and body, stunning sweet head is only topped by the most gorgeous sweetest nature you can imagine.

His two lovely parents are below. The Hustler is a stunning minimal tobiano stallion now in the US, his first crop of foals are really looking good. Mav's dam DJ Rowan is the one that was hiding the siver gene. She is such a sweet natured mare and is just what everyone loves with her compact body, gorgeous head and plenty of hair!!
